At idle I would expect the temperatures to be 10-15c. over ambient if the cooler is working and it is mounted properly. 100c. is the temperature that causes the cpu to throttle or shut off. You can apparently manually command it to use more threads but this is a negative and produces instabilities in the game. Which makes sense, cramming more threads at an application that wasn't designed to use more threads will not produce better results.
