WebHalf-Orcs are probably the best race for a barbarian who cares about damage output for sure. But not everyone cares about perfect min/maxing of race and class. One of my favorite characters I've ever played was a goliath barbarian because of the roleplay aspect. I personally don't like half-orcs as a race so I wouldn't like roleplaying them. WebGiving too much HP to things is just going to stretch out encounters. The key is to vary the types of "creatures" your party faces.
