WebJan 2, 2006 · I am a 63 year old woman who has been struggling with IC for 40 years--long before it had a name. I am wondering what the overall costs would be involved with the Interstim. I have some insurance, but they have been very bad about paying for IC treatments. I also would like cost info on nerve blocks for pelvic pain. WebUrgency is my primary IC symptom and bladder Botox was the best treatment for me by far. I had a noticeable improvement with oral medication (OAB meds didn't work for me, but medication for IC did) but still wasn't symptom-free, so I decided to try Botox. I have been getting it for 6 years now and I've been very happy.
